IMMART and Rio-based M’BARAKÁ are collaborating on an 4-day event at The Dome in Aarhus that will encompass a multi-media group exhibition featuring seven international artists based in Denmark, Belgium, Finland and Hungary, two children’s workshops, and an expert panel debate on themes relating to the socio-political happenings of 1989 and their outcomes. // IMMART og Rio-baseret M’BARAKÁ samarbejder om en 4-dages begivenhed på Domen i Aarhus, der omfatter en multimedie gruppeudstilling med syv internationale kunstnere med base i Danmark, Belgien, Finland og Ungarn, to børne kunstworkshops og en ekspertpaneldebat om temaer, der vedrører de socio-politiske hændelser i 1989 og deres resultater.

The opening evening of the art exhibition (14 November 2019) will be part of the 1989 Megaplex Worldwide Exhibition in Belgium. This one-day digital exhibition featuring the opening night of events by arts organizations across the globe, put together and presented in Brussels by FAM & Events asbl. Presently, 25 cities will be represented (Rio de Janiero, London, Berlin, Singapore and Vaduz among others), including the event being organised by IMMART and M’BARAKÁ in Aarhus, via live-stream at a location in Brussels on 14 November 2019. // Udstillingens åbningsaften (den 14. november 2019) er en del af den verdensomspændende 1989 Megaplex udstilling i Belgien – en en-dages digital udstilling som viser åbnings aftener for arrangementer fra kunstorganisationer verden over, sammensat og præsenteret i Bruxelles af FAM&Events asbl. Lige nu bliver arrangementer i 23 byer (bl. a. Rio de Janiero, London, Berlin, Singapore og Vaduz), inklusiv arrangementet, der arrangeres af IMMART og M’BARAKÁ i Aarhus, vist via live-stream et bestemt sted i Bruxelles, den 14. november 2019 .

The event It is being held at Domen (The Dome), which is run by Aarhus Municipality, who are also assisting with finding local resources.

 

We are working with Dansk Røde Kors (Danish Red Cross) on bringing  children from the asylum center in Jelling to participate in the kids workshops.

 

We are working with a group of volunteers from Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke (Action Aid Denmark) Aarhus.

 

We are working with CLARITY CPH on our communication strategy.
